Event Introduction

DNP conducted a special class at Osaka Prefectural Yodo Commercial High School, where students experienced interaction in a metaverse space, utilising "Kizuki-no-mori", which is being developed at the virtual venue of the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo, VIRTUAL EXPO~YUMESHIMA ISLANDS IN THE SKY~.
In the special class, the high school students who participated in the class experienced not only "Kizuki-no-mori" but also various pavilions at Virtual Expo groups, and thought about how to better experience and utilize the metaverse space.
Impressions and opinions of participating students
- It was interesting to have a different experience from the pavilions I saw at the actual Expo.
- I was able to communicate with people I don't usually talk to using voice chat and emotes.
- It would be good if the controls were simpler so that people with disabilities could play too.
- Wouldn't it be more fun if it was a space where people could interact and cooperate with each other?
Classmates actively interacted with each other in the virtual space, communicating with each other through voice and text chat and touring pavilions together.
